The People Behind ResComp

RCC Staff

The Residential Computing Consultants, or RCCs, are the primary source of technical assistance to students living in the residence halls. The RCCs can install your Ethernet card, sign you up for In-Room Connection service, diagnose many of the computer problems you may have, and generally assist you in your computer usage. RCCs hold regular office hours during the year in your unit's Computing Center. You can talk to them there, or you can sign up for an appointment and have an RCC come to your room.

Senior Staff

The Senior Staff at ResComp do the behind-the-scenes work done to make sure everything is running smoothly. Although Senior Staff are not in direct contact with our users, we ensure that they are supported and informed in our daily operations. Our tasks include maintaining and extending the abilities of our servers and network systems, supervising RCC activities, supporting RCCs in the field, spreading information to our users, and providing technical services to other departments.
