About Windows Systems Administration
The Windows Systems Administrator team develops and maintains the Windows servers and systems that support over 800 Windows and Macintosh workstations used by Student Affairs Information Technologies (SAIT). The Windows SysAdmin team is responsible for maintaining the integrity and security of 60 Windows servers and systems, which support the desktop and kiosk computers for over 1,800 RSSP staff, as well as approximately 120 workstations in six Academic Services Centers that serve over 8,000 student residents. With minimal direction from career staff, our team conducts systems analysis and development to keep our systems current with changing technologies. The Windows SysAdmin team helps to educate SAIT student and career staff in the use of the Windows platform, both as a server and a client operating system.
