Retrieving Your Game Console MAC Address
This article will take you through the necessary steps of registering your console with our network so you can enjoy the infinite possibilities of online gaming. Before we start, there's a very important fact you have to remember:
This means you cannot be playing a game online with your console while simultaneously surfing Facebook on your computer. This can be easily resolved by purchasing a router and connecting your devices through it; but otherwise, only one device can be connected at a time.
There are two simple steps to connecting your console to the network:
- Ensure the settings on the console are configured to work with our network
- Register the device online
- Log in to the ResComp Helpdesk at rescomp.berkeley.edu.
- Under Registered Devices, click on Add a New Device.
